We start the design process with an in-depth Schematic Design Questionnaire and understanding what rooms are the most important to you, what purposes those rooms serve, the end goals with your project, (rental, primary residence, etc.). We look over existing sketches or other plans you found you liked and hold a Schematic Design meeting centered around your questionnaire answers, your budget, your vision for the project.

We do background feasibility of the site- including survey study, site visit, aerial map review, and use our expertise in codes, zoning, and permitting requirements for your area to determine what is best for your needs in Schematic Design. One of our draftsmen will compose a a few working drafts based on this information- then we sit down for the exciting LIVE DESIGN PROCESS!

Rather in person or virtually, we join with the client in a collaborative LIVE DESIGN session that is sure to impress and capture all your wants, needs, and vision while design within the perimeters of your budget and your zoning mandates. The collaboration between designer and client is a unique experience that ensures what you want you will get- and it cuts out the weeks or months of endless emails of draft revisions and back-and-forth markups. You can dictate in Real-Time to Jonathan what oyu want to see come to life on the screen. Move this wall here, add the window there, check out the room from different angles and move the pieces around until the perfect dream plan comes to live off of the screen right before your eyes. 

With LIVE DESIGN you can truly say you helped design your plan and we will keep going until we nail the perfect plan- although we typically are able to satisfy within the first 1-2 sessions!
